Thegoowiyeng is a rocky outcrop in Kununurra. It is the dreaming place of the night pigeon that calls at night. Beside it is Thethebelung - they call Sleeping Buddha and in the background is Namoowalem - the Ivanhoe ranges. In the front is Lily Creek lagoon. Around it are the humpies where I grew up and the main roads houses where the white fellas lived when they built Kununurra.
